Make a valuable difference to people’s lives across South Australia

At Uniting Communities, more than 500 volunteers give their time, knowledge and skills, finding it a rewarding part of their lives and a chance to make new connections. Volunteering gives you a chance to use your existing skills and develop new ones as you help your community.

There are many different opportunities to volunteer across our organisation. We invite you to join our team and play an important role in supporting people in our community to thrive.

Volunteering can give you:

  • a sense of achievement and purpose
  • great opportunities to develop new skills, knowledge and experience
  • connections with new people
  • the chance to make a positive difference in your community
  • the opportunity to support a cause you are passionate about
  • increased confidence and self-esteem.

As a volunteer, you can choose from a wide range of flexible options that are tailored to suit your skills, interests and availability.

Areas where you can volunteer:

Spend time with an older person, provide transport to appointments and activities, assist with our lifestyle programs, or perhaps support us behind the scenes.
